Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

Duties and Responsibilities of Editors
1. Publication Decisions
The editor is responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts are suitable for publication in Masyrif. Editorial decisions must be based on the manuscript's scholarly merit, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, methodological quality, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge. Editors may consult peer reviewers and other editorial board members when making publication decisions.
Editors must also consider applicable legal and ethical requirements concerning plagiarism, copyright infringement, defamation, and research misconduct.
2. Fairness and Impartiality
Editors must evaluate manuscripts objectively and fairly, without discrimination based on the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political views. Corrections, Retractions, and Publication Integrity
Masyrif is committed to preserving the accuracy and reliability of the scholarly record. When an error or ethical concern is identified after publication, the editorial team will assess the available evidence and determine the appropriate response.
