TRADISI MACA MANAQIB TUAN SYEKH ABDUL QADIR AL-JAELANI DALAM PERSPEKTIF HADIS (KAJIAN LIVING HADIS)
Abstract
This research discusses the maca manaqib tradition of Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jaelani from a hadith perspective, with its implementation in Daru village, Jambe district. This tradition is a form of respect for Allah's saints as well as a means of getting closer to Him through reading tawasul, sholawat and the manaqib book. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, relying on primary data from interviews and observations conducted in Daru village, Jambe sub-district, Tangerang, and secondary data from various related literature. The results of this research show that this tradition has deep religious, cultural and social values. In the theological aspect, this practice is supported by relevant verses from the Koran and hadith, and does not conflict with Islamic principles as long as it is carried out with correct understanding. Apart from strengthening individual spirituality, the maca manaqib tradition also functions as a means of preserving local wisdom and strengthening social solidarity. This tradition is a manifestation of living hadith that is relevant in the lives of Muslims, especially in internalizing Islamic values through the example of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jaelani.
